I had my roof replaced on my terrace house February 2024. I have nothing but good things to say about Tom and his team. Good communication throughout. They provided a clear, detailed quote and charged exactly that amount. The work is a good quality, I would not hesitate to use them again in the future for other work.

We’d used Tom’s company before, so had no hesitation in asking him to fix our bungalow roof. As before, the team were efficient, arrived on site when they said they would, and worked to their usual excellent standard. The roof was finished in good time, and the site was left in a clean, tidy condition after completion.

Tom is an very approachable person, quickly came around to measure up and provide a quote on what we needed as we had a leaking gutter on both front & back of the house due to the age, plus also gable end of the front guttering had come away. His quote was in line with our original estimate and therefore we were happy for him to proceed once scaffolding was in place due to a conservatory. All installation and quality was excellent, plus they were a pleasure to be around and explained everything. No mess and no fuss. Unfortunately tom explained that our gable end was crumbling and went up to show us which meant that further work was required to repair the gable end. There was no pressure on us to agree but it was very clear it needed doing, therefore as the scaffolding was still up Tom and his team got on with it and it now looks considerably better than it was.

Following water ingress from the roof of my single storey extension I contacted distinctive home improvements . Tom and Allan very promptly visited my property assessed the situation and supplied a quote later that day. Within a couple of days tom and his team arrived back on site with all materials to carry out a full flat roof redesign and repair. Tom and his team were very professional, knowledgeable, punctual and friendly. Throughout the job we were kept informed of developments and any changes that were required. I highly recommend distinctive home improvement and I am very pleased with the end result.
